We had an amazing time during our stay! the cottage was exceptionally clean and cozy, with a welcoming fire in the fireplace upon arrival. the hosts were incredibly friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. the cottage had all the necessary amenities, and we especially enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with plenty of interesting places to visit and walking routes to enjoy. it was a peaceful and nature-filled retreat that we would highly recommend to others.
First, the outside area could have been better maintained. It felt a bit neglected and could use some sprucing up.

I had the privilege of enjoying the complimentary WiFi and private parking, as well as the lovely garden views. Parkes Castle and Sligo were within a reasonable distance, not that I bothered going. Towels were graciously provided.
Oh, what a shame there wasn't a world-class theme park right next door. How dare they not provide top-notch entertainment options for me!

My week at this mind-blowing cottage was absolutely jaw-dropping! The place was impeccably well-kept, cozy, and super clean. I was greeted with a warm fireplace and homemade bread - a truly delightful surprise! The cottage had everything I needed and more, including free wi-fi and a flat-screen TV for entertainment. The kitchen was spacious and fully equipped with cookware and kitchen utensils. The wood-burning fire in the main room made it incredibly cozy, especially for my two dogs who loved it! The location was perfect for enjoying peace, tranquility, and connecting with nature. There were plenty of interesting places to see and walking routes to explore nearby. The host, Conor, was incredibly helpful and made sure I had everything I needed for a fantastic stay. I will definitely be returning with my family to this wonderful place. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

The location is great for those who want to be in direct touch with nature, surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to interesting historical sites. The cottage itself is stunning, with deep old walls and an opened up ceiling in the main room. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, perfect for families or groups. The outside area is secure and safe for children to play, and the kitchen and bathroom facilities are fully equipped. The owners are genuine and provide a warm welcome, with a fire set and ready upon arrival. There is plenty of wood supplied for the duration of the stay.
Felt exceptional, no complaints whatsoever.
